Pitfire Running Club

WHAT??
Pitfire Running Club is NoHo Arts' 1st Social Running Club! They meet every Monday evening at 6pm at Pitfire Pizza in North Hollywood. (Lankershim and Magnolia)
This Monday, NoHo Derby will be participating! They do a 3 mile run, however we will be skating half the route with a running guide showing us the way. We will also be distributing flyers and stickers! Text Harley at 818-274-6011 or send us a Facebook message if you'd like to come with us. We'll meet at 6 at Pitfire Pizza and the fun begins at 6:30!
Feel free to wear a costume, but just make sure that it's safe to skate in. Wear reflective gear if you have it and prepare to have an awesome time! Click the link below to check out PRC's Facebook page.

April 25, 2015: NoHo Derby will be taking a road trip to the OC banked track!
Join us for an adrenaline filled practice at OC Roller Derby's home track. We will be meeting at our own track in North Hollywood and carpooling out to Orange County. We will be leaving at 8am and returning to Noho by 3pm. Not only is this a great opportunity to try skating the banked track, they also have their own skate shop! Get fitted for new skates and buy lots of stuff in their skate shop!!

NoHo Derby will have a booth this year at LBCC and since you were already going anyway, why not stop by and say hi?! We'll have photo op's and goodies.

"CicLAvia engages with people to positively transform our relationship with our communities and with each other. CicLAvia consists of the temporary opening of Los Angeles streets to all Angelenos. Free to the public, it interconnects diverse portions of the city, creating a web of temporary public space, free of car traffic." NHRD will be there handing out stickers, flyers, and sharing the derby love with everyone!
CicLAvia - Heart of LA will celebrate with a fifth year anniversary route! CicLAvia began as an idea with an uncertain outcome when it first removed cars from the streets of downtown Los Angeles in 2010. Now, 5 years, 14 events, and hundreds of thousands of participants later, CicLAvia is the largest open streets event in North America.
New to CicLAvia?? Here are 4 things you need to know:
*It's FREE!!
*It's not a race and you don't need a bike to participate. You can walk or SKATE to your hearts content.
*There's no beginning or end. You can start anythere and go as far or as short as you want.
*The flow of participants goes both ways, just like regular traffic.
